ParenTeach is now offering materials via online platforms. These course offerings include the evidence-based parenting education curriculum that has successfully supported parenting skills over the last 25 years.
Parenting Fundamentals: Online lessons and activities allow large numbers of individuals and facilitated group classes to have access to positive parenting education. The platforms chosen for the PF classes are set up to allow participants who access through an individual account to connect with and share their learning journey with other parents from across their own region; as well as those participants who access the lessons through a facilitated group process.
ParentAble was translated to online content with its inaugural pilot that reached 500 students at Evanston Township High School in 2018-2019. ParentAble lessons are now accessed and facilitated by high school classroom teachers on a highly respected learning management system. The online ParentAble process includes brief teacher training, student bulk registration, and links for students' access to the material and learning assessments. Tracking of student progress and viewing of submitted lessons is available to all registered teachers. Online student-to-student dialogue is also under development for use when desirable.
These courses are currently under development and will be available to the public soon.
